Hilmer Benson, one of Wood River’s most prominent citizens, died on Tuesday at his home after a short but serious illness of pneumonia. By the death of Mr. Benson, Wood River loses one of its most energetic citizens and prominent leader in church affairs. He has been employed in the Brett Department store for many years and leaves a wife and three children who have the sympathy of the entire community in their hour of distress.
