Wood River, Neb., Apr. 25 (Special Dispatch)–Mrs. Sarah Clemmons Bruner, 86, a resident of Nebraska for seventy-five years, died at her home in Wood River about 3:30 p.m. Wednesday. She had been an invalid for the past two years, suffering from infirmities incident to advanced age. Mrs. Bruner was one of the oldest residents of Nebraska, having come to this state in 1854, locating at Plattsmouth. With her family she resided there until 1900, when they moved to Hall county.

Surviving are two sons, William, of Grand Island, Clemmons, of Rockford, Wash., and one daughter, Ruth Bruner, of Wood River. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday from the home here, Rev. W. H. Stephens, pastor of the Methodist church, officiating. Burial will be in the Wood River cemetery.
