AGED RESIDENT DIES
Mrs. Joachim Dibbern, one of the old time residents of Hall county, and the mother of a large family of children who still reside in the county, passed away yesterday morning at 7 o’clock at her home six miles southwest of Wood River. Mrs. Dibbern had been bedfast for about six months, due principally to old age, being over seventy-one years old.
Mr. and Mrs. Dibbern were married in the Fatherland and came to this country and homesteaded at their present home over forty years ago when that section of the country was still a wilderness. They have made their home there ever since. Besides her husband she leaves eleven grown children to mourn her loss. They are Mrs. John Herman, Henry Dibbern, Mrs. Louis Schmidt, Peter and Hans Dibbern, Mrs. Peter Herman, Mrs. Anna Schlieker, Ernest Dibbern, Otto Dibbern, Mrs. Emma Runge and August Dibbern. The funeral will take place from the home tomorrow noon at 12 o’clock. Interment will be made at the Wood River cemetery.
