Richard Dunlap, nonagenarian, and for forty-five years a resident of Hall county, died at his farm home, ten miles north of Wood River about 11 a.m. Monday, death resulting from senility and resultant complications. Three years ago he sustained a fracture of a hip, since which time he had failed considerably. Born in Tennessee on July 6, 1828, Mr. Dunlap had attained the remarkable age of 97 years. Ever since coming to Nebraska forty-five years ago, he had lived continuously on the same farm place on which he had located in the early days. Surviving him are two sons and three daughters. His wife preceded him in death some time ago. Arrangements for the funeral have not as yet been made.
