Wood River, Sept. 6 – The many friends of O. W. Eaton were grieved to learn of his sudden death this morning, when he was stricken with a stroke of apoplexy at 7:30 o’clock and passed away about 8:30. Mr. Eaton has not been in the best of health the past year, but seemed to be feeling as good as usual this morning. He leaves to mourn his loss one daughter and one son, Mrs. Tomlison and H. S. Eaton. The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock from the residence.
