Wood River, Neb., Mar. 19. (Special)–Joseph English, 82, died at the home of a daughter, Mrs. George Mead, in Wood River, about 3 a.m. Saturday, after a brief illness from heart trouble. Mr. English was up and about as usual until three o’clock Friday afternoon when he suffered a sudden heart attack.
He is survived by two sons, Harry, of Wood River; Robert, of Norfolk; and two daughters, Mrs. Anna Guthrie, of Berkeley, Cal., and Mrs. Carrie Mead, of Wood River. Arrangements for the funeral have not been made, pending word from the daughter in California.
