DIED—Monday, July 17, 1899 of liver complaint, Jonas Fox, aged 45 years. Funeral services were held at the house Tuesday afternoon conducted by Rev. Gammon, in the presence of quite a nice gathering. Internment took place in the Wood River cemetery. Mr. Fox was born in the state of Maryland and came to Hall county some twenty years ago. For a number of years he had a fine place in the southern part of the city where he has kept a Bachelor’s Hall. The deceased was not much given to sociability and had but few intimates. The only relative he had in this section was a cousin, Mrs. Simon Mosser, of Shelton. He died intestate.—Wood River Interests.
