Wood River, May 9 – George W. Juckett passed away Tuesday evening, May 8, at 1:30 o’clock after an illness of two weeks of pneumonia. Mr. Juckett formerly conducted a meat market here, but on account of his health sold out about one month ago. Mr. Juckett was 61 years, 9 months and 1 day of age, and was born at Albion, Mich., in 1855, and married Alice Rounds of Wood River on March 20, 1887. To this union were born two children, both of whom died in infancy. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife and two brothers, L. C. Juckett, of Albion, Mich., and L. L. Juckett, of Hart, Mich. The funeral will be held Friday morning at 10 o’clock from the residence. Rev. Wagoner, of Clarks, will conduct the services. The sympathy of the many friends is extended to the bereaved ones in their sorrow.
