“Country Correspondence – Wood River”
The people of our town were saddened Thursday to hear of the death of Mrs. E. Kunz which occurred at the town residence of the family. Mrs. Kunz was one of the pioneer ladies of this part of Hall county, having lived on the north bank of the Platte until about ten years ago. When Mr. Kunz came to town he located on west 5th street where he has since lived. Mrs. Kunz has been an invalid for a number of years and a great sufferer. The funeral will probably be next Sunday afternoon at the Presbyterian church of which she has been a member for a number of years.
