Died, Velma Michael, 15 year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. E. Michael, at their home one mile south of town Wednesday, August 7, of appendicitis after an illness of only five days. Funeral services were held from the home Saturday, August 10, conducted by Rev. Foreman of the Methodist church, interment being made in the Wood River cemetery. She leaves to mourn her loss the father, mother, two brothers, one sister, and a baby brother born Friday, August 9, and a large circle of friends who extend their sympathy to the bereaved family.
