George W. Miller Passes Away at His Home in Wood River.
Wood River, Jan. 13 – George W. Miller passed away at his home in this city last night at midnight, age 72 years. For some time he has been slightly troubled with kidney and heart complaints, and two weeks ago suffered a slight stroke of paralysis, since which time he has been gradually failing until death terminated the struggle. He was a veteran of the civil war. He leaves a wife, one son, Howard, and three daughters, Mesdames Robert Clark and Joseph Reisland, residing in Wood River, and Mrs. Cunningham, living in Illinois.
Mr. Miller had been a resident of Wood River for the past thirty years, and has been actively identified with the business interest of the town. Arrangements for the funeral have not as yet been fully completed.
