Larry D. Partridge, 77, of Wood River died Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2015, at Good Samaritan Society Wood River.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church in Wood River, with the Rev. Phil Sloat officiating.
Interment will be at the Wood River Cemetery.
Mr. Partridge was born April 2, 1938, in Kearney the son of Theodore and Gladys (Wood) Partridge.
He grew up in Wood River, graduating from Wood River High School in 1956. Larry then attended trade school and also was a member of the United States Army Reserves.
Larry was united in marriage to Dorothy Hill on Sept. 24, 1960, in Nashau, Iowa at Little Brown Church in the Vale.
The couple made their home in Wood River where Larry owned and operated L & D Urethane Systems Inc. He also spent a lot of his time at he and his wife’s diner in Wood River, Dorothy’s Cafe.
Larry was a member of First United Methodist Church in Wood River, Elk’s Club, Eagles and Saddle Club.
He enjoyed carving wood figurines and time spent with his family.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy of Wood River, son, Don D. and wife, Susan, of Wahoo; granddaughters, Shelby and Madison Partridge of Wahoo and grandsons, Brock and Luke Partridge of Wahoo.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents.
