Mrs. Thomas Taylor, residing at 413 North Oak street, died at the St.
Francis hospital at 4:50 a.m., Friday, of pyemia (sic), a form of blood poisoning, following an illness of several weeks. Mrs. Taylor, formerly Scharott (sic) A. Gray, was born in New York on Sept. 20, 1864, being aged 61 years. With her parents, she came to Hall county when a small child and has since resided here. On June 9, 1882, she was married to Lewis M. Cleveland, who died Nov. 3, 1890. In 1892, she was united in marriage with Thomas O. Taylor, of Wood River, Mr. Taylor’s death occurring in 1920.
Surviving her are a son, Fay, who when last heard from was serving in the United States forces in Siberia during the World war, and a niece, Mrs. J. C. Boroff, of Doniphan. Funeral services will be held Sunday, at 3 p.m., from the Presbyterian church in Wood River. Brief services will be held at the Geddes chapel in this city at 2 p.m., Rev. Glen L. Rice officiating. Burial will be in the Wood River cemetery.
