Death of Ellsworth Thompson
Wood River, Neb., May 22 – Ellsworth Thompson, eight year old son of Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Thompson, passed away at his home about 10 o’clock this morning after an illness of about one week, death resulting from complications resultant from an attack of the mumps. Besides his bereaved parents he leaves two brothers, both of whom are in the service, and two sisters to mourn his loss. The grief-stricken family has the deep condolence of a host of friends. Funeral services will be held on Friday morning at 10 o’clock from the home, south of Wood River.
