WELL KNOWN WOOD RIVER RESIDENT DEAD
“Wood River, NE – March 24 – (Special Dispatch)
The body of Mrs. A.C. White, formerly well known Wood River resident whose demise occurred at the home of a son in Omaha Saturday evening, was brought to Wood River for burial, funeral services to take place from the home of her daughter, Mrs. William P. Burmood, four miles south of Wood river, on Wednesday afternoon. Mrs. White was aged 68 years. Since the death of her husband, Cop White, one time justice of the peace, a number of years ago, she had been making her home in Omaha, Arcadia, and Wood River. Surviving her are 13 children, 64 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren.”
