“Country Correspondence – Wood River”
The funeral of John Fred Whittler, of Salt Lake, was held at the Presbyterian church Wednesday afternoon by Rev. Clair. There was a large crowd in attendance and the floral offerings were most beautiful. Interment was made in the Wood River cemetery. Mr. Whittler was a former Wood River man, leaving here eleven years ago for Salt Lake city. He leaves to mourn his loss besides friends, a wife, three daughters and one son.
