WOOD RIVER (Special) – Harlow D. Wilson, 51, for the past 20 years light and water commissioner for the Village of Wood River, died Monday morning at a hospital in Grand Island where he had been a patient for several weeks. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. at the Presbyterian Church here, with burial in the Wood River Cemetery. The Apfel Funeral Home is in charge.

Mr. Wilson was born Nov. 8, 1901, at Shelton, and had lived in Wood River most of his life. He was a member of the Wood River Volunteer Fire Department and of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Grand Island.

Surviving are his wife, a son, Kay Lee of Wood River; two brothers, Lewis and Arthur Wilson, Wood River; and three sisters, Mrs. Minnie Iams, Wood River; Mrs. James L. Irwin, Beatrice; and Mrs. Rupert Bigsby, Scottsbluff.
