Kimball Charles “Cobra” Denman, 59, of Wood River, Nebraska died Sunday, March 9, 2014 at St. Francis Medical Center in Grand Island.
Services will be 10:30 A.M. Friday – March 14, 2014 at the United Methodist Church in Wood River. Burial will be in the Wood River Cemetery. Pastor Phil Sloat will be officiating. The family requests those in attendance wear bright colors instead of black to celebrate his life! Apfel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Kim was born on September 14, 1954 in Fort Riley, Kansas to Donald and Jacqueline (Hayden) Denman. He received his education at District 6 School in Alda and Wood River High School. He attended Doane College. He was united in marriage to Rhonda Mead Stelk on September 7, 1984 at the United Methodist Church in Wood River. The couple lived in Wood River. He was a salesman for Randy’s Auto Sales for 27 years.
He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Wood River. He enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, and golfing. Kim loved his corvette. He also loved to shop for big bargains. He truly enjoyed being a salesman at Randy’s Auto Sales. He had a wonderful sense of humor. His greatest enjoyment in life was his family, especially his children and grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Rhonda Denman; daughters, Bobbi (Darren) Parlin, Jennifer (Chad) Fischer, Brooke Denman (Brandon Thompson); parents, Donald and Jacqueline Denman; sister, Pamela (Leonard) Sorahan; grandchildren, Haley, Abigail, and Faith Parlin; Michael, Landon, and Lucas Fischer, Kenna and Sawyer Thompson.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
