Gerald Dubbs, 83 of Wood River died Friday, May 5 2000. Services will be at the United Methodist church in Wood River. Burial of the cremains will follow the services
at the Wood River Cemetery.
Mr Gerald Dubbs was born to Daniel and Lela (Brunner) Dubbs.He attended Wood River High School and graduated in 1933. He married Berniece Rathman on Jan. 31, 1940. He worked for the Union Pacific Railroad and at the Cornhusker Ordnance Plant. He was a member of the Wood River Methodist Church, the Fraternal Order of Eagles and the Platt-Duetsche.
Survivors include his wife, two sons, Bob of Schuyler and Gary of Elkhorn, nine grandchildren, six great grandchildren one brother, Harold and one sister, Eileen. He was preceded in death by an infant brother and a grandson.”
