CHANDLER, Ariz. — Hector Cisneros Faz, 83, formerly of Wood River, died Saturday, Dec. 20, 2014, in Chandler, Ariz.
Mr. Faz was born Jan. 29, 1931, to Luis and Eufemia Cisneros Faz in Via Acuna, Mexico.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita.
Survivors include his sons and their spouses, Hector Jr. and Randa, John and Pam, Ramiro and Barb, and Elodio and Lois; his daughters and their spouses, Linda and Larry Majerus, Sally and Jim O’Donnell, Susie and Richard McCann, and Joy and Frank Heimbaugh; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Delia, and Minerva and Alvino Lozano; and a brother and sister-in-law, Rogelio and Juanita Faz.
He also is survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Hector married Juanita Falcon on June 11, 1951, in Texas. Hector and Jane moved to Wood River in 1975 and lived there for many years.
Hector’s last few years were spent mostly in Camp Wood, Texas, with a brother-in-law and his wife, Joe and Yvonna Falcon. During the colder holiday months, he would stay with his daughter, Susie, and her husband, Richard McCann, in Chandler, Ariz.
One of Hector’s favorite songs is Dos Arbolitos, by Linda Rondstadt and sung by a nephew, Alberto “Beto” Faz.
He was preceded in death by his wife; his parents; and an infant son, Ramiro.
