PASSES TO REWARD

Wood River, June 6. – Charles M. Horn died at his home in this city Wednesday afternoon, after an illness covering a period of 17 years, being 72 years of age at his demise. He was born in Germany in 1840, and in the year 1862 came to America, first locating in New York city where he remained until 1874, when he came to Grand Island. In that city in 1875 he was married to Miss Elizabeth Schultz, and eight children were born to the union. Five of the children, together with the sorrowing wife are left to mourn: Mrs. Otto Abraham, of Sterling, Colo.; Charles P. Horn , of Pickrell, Neb.; Henry W. Horn, of Mullinsville, Kans.; Anna and Otto Horn, of Wood River. The funeral occurred this afternoon at 2 o’clock.
