Charles Madsen, 50, Of Wood River, Dies

Wood River, June 11. (Special). – Charles Madsen, 50 years of age, died suddenly about ten o’clock, Sunday evening, at his farm home, three miles south of Wood River, death being attributed to a heart affliction. While Mr. Madsen had suffered failing health, for some time, his death came as a distinct shock to the family and friends.

Surviving, besides his widow, are a daughter and two sons, all at home; his aged mother, Mrs. Hans Madsen, and two sisters, Mrs. Earl Park of Juniata, and Mrs. Forest Tuller, of Shaw, Colo.

Funeral services will be held in the Presbyterian church here, on Wednesday afternoon, with the pastor, Rev. Graham, officiating.

Burial will be in the Wood River cemetery.
