Isaac Newton Senseney, 68, Wood River, died early this morning in a local hospital. He was a brother of Mrs. Sarah Selske of Grand Island. Mr. Senseney, a prominent livestock feeder and farmer, had spent his entire life in the Wood River community. He had been in ill health for the past five years and had been seriously ill the last ten days.

Born Feb. 17, 1882, at Monticello, Ill., to James and Elsie Senseney, he came to Wood River with his parents when he was a year old. His father took up a soldier’s homestead near the town. His church affiliation was the Methodist. He was married to Miss Alvena
Keirig Dec. 4, 1907.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Cecil Marrs and Miss Alice Senseney, both of Wood River; a son Arthur, Wood River; an adopted son, Robert Pharoak, Laramie, Wyo.; a sister, Mrs. Sarah Selske, Grand Island; and two brothers, Ross and Charles, Wood River. He was preceded in death by his parents, three half-brothers and a half-sister. Funeral services will be held at 2 o’clock Wednesday afternoon in the Methodist church at Wood River. The Rev. I. Lester Hart will officiate. Burial will be in Wood River cemetery. The body will be at the Apfel funeral home in Wood River until the time of the services.
