December 11, 1894, the home of Harry Wescoatt was gladdened by the appearance of a son. At the rate birth notices are pouring in, the rapid growth in population of the community is assured.

Died—December 19th, 1894 at her home south east of Wood River Mrs. Harry Wescoatt, aged 24 years. The deceased leaves a husband and three children, one 7 years old, another 2 years old, and an infant babe, for which the mother gave her life. Funeral services were held in the Presbyterian church before a crowded house conducted by the pastor, Rev. Dunlp, after which the remains were interred in the Wood River Cemetery. Mrs. Wescoatt was the daughter of I. Schooley and grew up in this community. In 1887 she was married to Harry Wescoatt and she proved herself a faithful and loving wife. The bereaved relatives have the sympathy of the entire community in this their hour of affliction.
